The ministry of corporate affairs has ordered India's Serious Fraud Investigation Office (SFIO) to carry out an investigation into Jet Airways over alleged mismanagement of funds. This is yet another blow to the airline that stopped operations in April after running out of funds. Jet Airways spokesperson didn't respond to a query. Ex-chairman Naresh Goyal had a plea to Delhi HC to let him travel abroad, which might be opposed.
