Serum Institute to invest 240 million pounds to set up facilities in UK

Days after reports emerged that Adar Poonawalla was considering setting up some vaccine manufacturing plants outside India, it has been revealed that Serum Institute is going to invest nearly 240 million Great British Pounds for setting up facilities in UK. The funds will be used to set up a sales office and facilities for "clinical trials, research and development and possibly manufacturing of vaccines".
