Security lapse in Jio exposes COVID-19 symptom checker results

India's biggest cell network Jio had launched its coronavirus self-test symptom checker in March which allows anyone to check their symptoms from their phone. Security researcher Anurag Sen alerted Jio about a security lapse that exposed the COVID-19 symptom checker database which included millions of users self-test data along with their geolocation. Jio has hauled down the system hosting the database.
