Goldman Sachs slashed the salary of its CEO David Solomon by $10 million to $17.5 million in 2020. The salary cut was because of the involvement of Solomon in the 1MDB Malaysian bribery scandal. "The amounts of remuneration reflect the decision announced by the board of directors," said a securities filing. The salaries of COO John Waldron and CFO Stephen Scherr were also cut in connection with the scandal.
