Reserve Bank of India maintains GDP growth target for FY 2022 at 9.5%

Reserve Bank of India governor Shaktikanta Das said that the GDP growth target for the current financial year has been retained at 9.5%. "This consists of 7.9% in Quarter 2, 6.8% in Quarter 3 and 6.1% in Quarter 4 of 2021-22," Mr. Das said while announcing the policy statement. The country's GDP witnessed an increase of 20.1% in the April-June quarter of FY 22. The MSF bank rate was kept unchanged by the RBI.
