Reliance Industries Limited eyeing major acquisition in UK's Debenhams

Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Industries Limited that has attracted a series of investments from several investors in the recent past, is in talks with Debenhams, a struggling British department store chain in the UK, about acquiring part or all of the 242-year-old retailer. Debenhams has franchise stores in several countries. However, if reports are to be believed, there's no certainty of Reliance cracking the deal.
