RBI keeps repo rate, reverse repo rate unchanged at 4% and 3.35% respectively

The Reserve Bank of India has kept the repo rate unchanged at 4 percent. RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das announced the new monetary policy and the reverse repo rate was also kept unchanged at 3.35 percent. "The MPC was of the view that inflation is likely to remain elevated with some relief in the winter months from prices of perishables and bumper Kharif arrivals," Das said while adding that recovery was based on policy support.
