RBI governor says GDP will remain in negative in first half

The Governor of the Reserve Bank of India today said that the GDP growth of the country will remain in the contraction zone in the first half of the year. He added that the real GDP growth for 2020-21 will remain negative as well. The governor went on to say that RBI is perhaps the only central bank in the world that has set up a special quarantine facility so that its critical operations remain unaffected.
