Power distribution companies in union territories to be privatised, says FM

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman today announced the fourth tranche of the Centre's economic relief package on Saturday. She said power distribution companies in Union Territories will be privatised. Consumer rights, promotion of industries and sustainability of sector will be the major salient points of the new tariff policy. She also announced restrictions on the utilisation of Indian Air Space will be eased.
