PhonePe raises $350 Mn at over $12 Bn valuation

Fintech platform PhonePe today announced it has raised $350 million in a new funding round led by General Atlantic at a pre-money valuation of $12 billion. Several marquee Global and Indian investors are also participating in this round. According to PhonePe, the investment marks the first tranche of $1 billion that commenced in January 2023. With this, it has become the most valued fintech startup (privately funded) in India.
