Pandora, the world's largest jeweller, has stated that it would stop using mined diamonds in favour of more cheap and environmentally safe laboratory-created diamonds. In a statement, Pandora Chief Executive Alexander Lacik stated, "Diamonds are not only everlasting but for everyone." This initiative appears to be aimed toward millennials, who are increasingly worried about environmental issues and human rights abuses in the mining business.
