Pak International Airlines suffers huge financial losses to operate 46 flights without passengers

Pak International Airlines ran 46 passenger-free flights in 2016-17, resulting in a loss to the airline of over USD 1.1 million. The results were disclosed in an audit report that the airline incurred enormous economic costs by serving vacant flights from Islamabad and no enquiry was performed even after being informed. The audit report also stated that about 36 Hajj flights were also flying without people.
