ONDC crosses 35,000 daily order mark, aims at 2,00,000 transactions by year end

On Sunday, ONDC daily retail orders crossed the 35,000 mark, with Delhi-NCR and Bengaluru contributing more than 11,000 and 7,000 orders, respectively. Mumbai, Hyderabad and Pune registered 2,500-3,000 each, including food and grocery items, a Moneycontrol report said, quoting sources. At a recent event, ONDC’s CEO T Koshy said that the government-backed ecommerce network is preparing to hit 2,00,000 transactions a day by the end of this year.
