Odisha court orders attachment of Seashore Group's properties worth Rs. 650 crore in fraud case

A court in Cuttack ordered the attachment of chit fund firm Seashore Group's properties worth Rs. 650 crore in connection with a fraud case. The case involves the firm defrauding investors in Odisha of Rs. 578 crore. The movable and immovable assets of the firm, including 197-acre land, 1.385 kg gold and two quintal silver will be attached as per the court's order. Central Bureau of Investigation was probing the fraud case.
