No layoff in Wipro due to Coronavirus, says chairman Rishad Premji

Wipro chairman Rishad Premji has assured that there will be no layoff in the software firm amid the coronavirus pandemic. Premji said not a single employee has been laid-off amid the Coronavirus crisis. Premji said this to shareholders in his first annual general meeting as chairman. "We are driving cost reductions through other means," he said to shareholders. Wipro's new CEO Thierry Delaporte took charge last week.
