Nearly 20,000 Amazon employees test positive for coronavirus

E-commerce giant Amazon has said that more than 19,800 of its employees have tested positive for the novel coronavirus since the outbreak of the disease in March. "Since the beginning of this crisis, we've worked hard to keep our employees informed, notifying them of every new case in their building," Amazon said in a blog post. The firm has ramped up the testing process and is testing nearly 50,000 people a day across 650 sites.
