Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman addressed a press conference today, putting forward the government's plan to revive and boost the economy. Sitharaman said the Narendra Modi-led NDA government has spent over Rs 50 lakh crore on infrastructure in the past six years. The minister said that the major areas where the govt invested were: power, railways, irrigation, education, health, digital, urban, mobility and water.
