Microsoft-owned GitHub to launch multiple offices in India

Microsoft-owned GitHub has announced its launch in India. Maneesh Sharma will lead the India team. At present, GitHub has an office in Bengaluru and Hyderabad and it is hiring extensively in multiple other cities. GitHub will be offering Hackathon Grant to provide support to the student developers in India. GitHub has claimed that there has been a rise of 75% in its number of public repositories in India.
