MHA withdraws order directing companies to pay full wages during COVID-19 lockdown

The Ministry of Home Affairs, on Monday withdrew its order directing companies and commercial units to pay full wages to workers even when the units were not functional owing to the nationwide COVID-19 lockdown. The move is expected to bring relief to a large number of industries and companies which were unable to pay full wages to their employees amid the economic crisis that has risen due to the pandemic.
