McDonald's HR executive quits following the firing of CEO

Days after fast-food giant McDonald's fired its CEO citing the violation of policies, its top human resources executive David Fairhurst resigned from the company. The Chicago-based burger giant said that the resignation of Chief People Officer has nothing to do with the ouster of Easterbrook. Fairhurst was promoted to his position in 2015 after Easterbrook became CEO. Fairhurst shared the news of his resignation on Linkedin.
