Krishna Srinivasan to head IMF's Asia and Pacific Department Director

Indian economist Krishna Srinivasan has been appointed as the Director of the Asia and Pacific Department (APD) by International Monetary Fund Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva. According to an IMF announcement, Srinivasan will succeed Changyong Rhee whose retirement from the organisation was announced on March 23.
