Karnataka tops Niti Aayog's India Innovation Index, followed by TN & Maharashtra

Niti Aayog released a report on rankings of states under India Innovation Index 2019. Karnataka has been ranked as the most innovative state followed by Tamil Nadu & Maharashtra. The top 10 major states are mainly concentrated in southern & western India. Bihar, Jharkhand & Chhattisgarh trailed on the list. It's the 1st ever India Innovation Index to help create a conducive ecosystem for innovation to flourish in the nation.
