Amazon founder Jeff Bezos addressed a conference to thank the employees and customers of his firm after completing an 11-minute trip into space. Bezos thanked the employees and customers of Amazon for paying for his space trip but his statement was met with heavy backlash. "Amazon workers don’t need Bezos to thank them. They need him to stop union-busting — and pay them what they deserve," former labour secretary Robert Reich wrote.
