Infosys to pay California $8,00,000 in a settlement over tax fraud

Content TeamIndian tech giant Infosys has reached a settlement with California over the misclassification of foreign worker's visa and tax frauds. The company has agreed to pay California $800,000. "The company brought in workers using the wrong visas to underpay them and avoid paying California payroll taxes such as unemployment insurance, disability insurance and employment training taxes," Attorney General Xavier Becerra said.
