Indigo becomes 1st Indian carrier to operate 1500 flights per day

Budget carrier Indigo has now become the first Indian airline to operate 1500 flights per day; the 1500th flight was operated in December. Indigo now operates on an average 1 flight per minute. It operates to 83 destinations, 23 international ones. The airline currently has a fleet of 249 planes and flies over 2.50 lakh passengers per day. It expanded its operations to 11 domestic and 8 international new destinations.
