SBI in a research report released on Thursday revised India's GDP growth forecast for the financial year 2022-23 to 7.5 per cent, which is 0.20 per cent higher from its earlier projection. Given the high inflation and the subsequent upcoming rate hikes, we believe that real GDP will incrementally increase by Rs 11.1 lakh crore in FY23, SBI chief economist Soumya Kanti Ghosh said in the report.
