India's Antitrust body ordered an investigation on carmaker Maruti Suzuki for discounting practices. The CCI looked into the allegations that Maruti forces its dealers to limit the discounts they offer. If dealers offered extra discounts, Maruti imposed a penalty on them. The CCI asked the investigation unit to complete the task within 150 days. Maruti argued it doesn't impose a discount control policy, but the CCI disagreed.
