Google Play Store developers will soon be required to validate their email address and phone number, as well as offer their physical location, in order to improve security and guarantee that accounts are established by ‘real individuals,' according to the reports. The news comes as a result of criminals creating a huge number of developer accounts in order to publish malware and other fraudulent apps to the Play Store.
