HealthCare Budget 2020: Mission Indradhanush extended, PPP mode hospitals in 112 districts

In a bid to improve the quality of healthcare and medical sector, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced extension of Mission Indradhanush to cover new diseases and new vaccines. "PPP mode hospitals will be set up under viability gap funding to look at areas where there are no hospitals. This will be 112 aspirational districts where first priority will be given," the finance minister announced.
