Gurugram-based unicorn OYO drops thousands of hotel rooms, slashed other costs

Gurugram-based hospitality unicorn OYO is in troubled waters after the reports surfaced about company's toxic work culture. Now, as per reports, OYO is rapidly scaling back on the number of rooms on its platform to run a tighter ship. OYO has cut 65k rooms from its roster since Oct 2019. The company has reportedly stopped selling rooms, pulled out of many cities, & slashed other costs due to pressure from investor SoftBank.
