Grab acquires Bangalore-based startup iKaaz

Southeast Asia’s top ride-hailing company Grab has acquired a digital payments startup from Bangalore named iKaaz. The startup was founded in 2014. Grab is also planning to launch its mobile payments division to bring in new features and welcome new partners for GrabPay. The Bangalore R&D centre of Grab, its sixth venture globally, will join hands with the iKaaz team once the acquisition process completes.
