The Reserve Bank of India announced the revision of the GDP growth projection for 2020-21 from -9.5% to -7.5%. Das made the announcement in an online briefing at the end of the meeting of the Monetary Policy Committee. The Central Bank kept the repo rate and reverse repo rate unchanged for a third straight review. Economists had predicted to change in the repo rate amid the current economic crisis.
