Popular US jewelry chain Tiffany has been acquired by France's LVMH in a $16.2 billion deal. This is the biggest acquisition of the French luxury group. It has been announced that the French luxury group will acquire Tiffany for $135 per share in cash, in a transaction with an equity value of approximately 14.7 billion euros. The deal was approved on Sunday and the transaction will close in the middle of 2020.
