Former Norwest VP Partner and Former COO of Freshworks launched India focused funding

Mohan Kumar, a former partner at Norwest Venture and Nishant Rao, a former COO of SaaS firm Freshworks have launched Avataar Venture Partners, a $300 million worth India focused fund. Avataar Venture Partners will invest $10-$30 million in its portfolio companies with a target to back companies that have at least $15 million in recurring revenue. Apart from that, Avataar will also buy stakes in companies held by Norwest.
