Flipkart on track to profitability: Walmart International CEO Judith McKenna

Speaking at Baird 2022 Global Consumer, Technology & Services Conference in New York, Walmart International CEO and president Judith McKenna said the US retailer is confident that Flipkart will hit profitability. McKenna said there has been a ‘clear proof of value’. She pointed out that Walmart first invested in Flipkart at a valuation of $20 Bn. She also noted that when Flipkart raised $3.6 Bn in 2021 from Walmart and SoftBank.
