At a time when India is observing lockdown to prevent the spread of coronavirus, Flipkart, homegrown e-commerce marketplace and Meru, the app-based ride-hailing cab operator have collaborated to provide essential items like groceries to people at door steps amid lockdown. Meanwhile the number of coronavirus cases in India crossed 31,000, while the number of deaths caused due to the virus surpassed 1000.
