Flipkart co-founder Sachin Bansal invested Rs 200 crore in Piramal Enterprises debt paper. He has subscribed to non-convertible debentures issued by Piramal Enterprises. Bansal's loan to Piramal follows investments by him in debt deals worth more than $100 million. The NCDs carry an interest coupon of about 9.5% and a repayment period of 2 years. But, Piramal declined to comment. Bansal plans to diversify his portfolio.
