Federal agency sees 5 Chinese firms including Huawei as "risk" to US security

Five Chinese companies including Huawei Technologies, ZTE Corp, Hytera Communications Corp, Hangzhou Hikvision Digital Technology Corporation and Dahua Technology Corporation have been labelled as a threat to the national security of the United States by the Federal Communications Commission. Acting FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel said the "list provides meaningful guidance" for establishing next-generation networks.
