In a Twitter storm on Wednesday, Dogecoin co-creator Jackson Palmer blasted cryptocurrencies as an "inherently right-wing, hyper-capitalistic technology." According to Palmer, bitcoin exploits technology to avoid governmental supervision, removing critical "safety nets" for the typical investor. Billy Markus, his co-creator, reacted to his tweets with a meme of a guy with a Doge head shrugging. BilIn 2015, both quit the Dogecoin party.
