Delhi metro ride getting costlier

The metro fares in Delhi are set to increase from October. This year it is the second time that metro is increasing its fare of rides. According to DMRC, the price of the rides will increase by up to Rs 10. The passengers travelling within 2 km will see no effect but people travelling more than 2 km will see the difference. A fall in ridership was noted by DMRC when the first hike was introduced in May.
