The market capitalization or value of cryptocurrencies surged to $35.3 billion in last 24 hours. Bitcoin remained at $9,388.30, or up 18.57% in the last 24 hours. It’s the highest level since March 7. Industry experts have identified two factors behind this - central bank monetary policy, along with an upcoming event known as bitcoin halving. Cryptocurrencies were hit by two major blows in March in equity markets.
