No additional dearness allowance for government employees, pensioners till June 2021

The Union Finance Ministry has decided to freeze the additional dearness allowance of Central government employees and pensioners till July 2021, in the wake of the novel coronavirus. "Additional installment of Dearness Allowance payable to central govt employees & Dearness Relief to central govt pensioners, due from 1st January, 2020 shall not be paid," the Finance Ministry said. Additional DA & DR installments from July 1 2020 won't be paid.
