Consortium of Indian Banks pursue Mallya in UK High Court in attempt to recover funds

Indian banks which are being led by the State Bank of India have been pursuing embattled liquor tycoon Vijay Mallya in the UK high court. While the banks attempt to recover some of the funds owed to them under a 1.145 Billion pounds freezing order, two superyachts, a game reserve, unnumbered undeclared vintage cards, valuable paintings and a piano which was previously owned by Elton John are among the assets in contention.
