Cloud platform Digital Ocean joins the Unicorn club with new funding

In its Series C funding, cloud platform Digital Ocean has raised $50 million of funding. The round was led by Access Industries and Andreessen Horowitz. With fresh investment, Digital Ocean’s value will reach $1.15 billion and makes spaces in the Unicorn club. Digital Ocean has more than 500,000 customers globally and it has a recurring revenue of $300 million and the funding will add strength to the balance sheet.
