China suspends planned tariffs on US goods

China has now called off extra tariffs on some US goods scheduled to be implemented from December 15 after both countries agreed a "phase one" trade deal on Friday amid the much talked about US-China trade war. China's retaliatory tariffs were related to goods ranging from corn and wheat to US-made vehicles and auto parts. However, other Chinese tariffs, already been implemented on US goods, remain the same.
