Centre gets two weeks from Supreme Court to decide on loan moratorium

The Supreme Court today gave the centre two more weeks "to come up with something concrete for various sectors" in the loan moratorium matter, in what it said was the last chance. The apex court bench comprising Justices Ashok Bhushan, R Subhash Reddy and MR Shah asked the government to take a concrete decision on the matter. The centre in its response said that it was consulting with banks and other stakeholders.
