ByteDance rejects Microsoft's buyout offer, picks Oracle for deal

Days after United States President Donald Trump said he will not extend the time given to Chinese firm Bytedance to sell its operation in US, tech-giant Microsoft who was in talks with the firm to acquire the operation, has said that its offer has been rejected. The Chinese parent of TikTok has chosen Oracle as its preferred suitor for the deal. However, the same has not been confirmed by Oracle yet.
