The Chinese owner of the video-sharing app TikTok, ByteDance has reportedly frozen new hiring. The firm has reassigned some top management roles in India amid growing instances of resignations. The Indian government recently banned the app including 100 other China-based apps amid the growing tensions between the two countries. ByteDance was on a hiring spree before the ban imposed by the Union government.
