Business communities in Kashmir suffer losses over Rs 10,000 crore after shutdown

After the abrogation of article 370 in J&K, the business has suffered a loss of more than 10,000 crores. This has crippled the valley's economy. Main markets are mainly shut with a slowdown in public transport in Lal Chowk, city centre area of Srinagar. President of Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Sheikh Ashiq stated that it was difficult to assess the nature of the loss but the situation is quite abnormal.
