Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman started her budget speech by hailing the work done by healthcare workers in controlling the Covid outbreak while citing the low death rate. She further said that two more vaccine candidates are set to launch their vaccine soon. The budget announcement is expected to come with a major boost for the healthcare sector. Sitharaman said budget followed contraction just 3 times in the history of India.
